Day 01: Favorite Book You Read Last Year
I read two all-time favorites for the first time in 2012, but I'm going to have to give the edge to Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I generally hate angels and I'm not big on urban fantasy, either, (though that's changing,) but it surpassed every expectation. It made me fall in love with Karou and Akiva and set the stage for one of the best sequels in memory. Perfection.
