Completely outside my usual wheelhouse, but what could have been a super depressing book became one of my favorites of the year. It took issues I relate to very strongly and dealt with them in a hopeful, funny way. It has some of the best written teenagers in fiction and an end that left me grinning. (You should read it. Like, now.)
