Day 20 - Favorite Romance Book
Courtney Milan writes the best romance novels for my money. Her heroines are spunky without becoming anachronistic. Her heroes are varied and flawed. Her love scenes are steamy.
In my review of this title, I said, "Technically a novella, Courtney Milan packs in more character development and plot in 101 pages than many romances do in thrice the space." I stand by that.
I liked Milan's Turner series, I love the rest of the Brother's Sinister, but the prequel novella hits all the right notes. Serena might be my favorite heroine, and the pins scene is certainly my favorite seduction.
