General book updates
I have no idea why it's taking me 9 days to get though a 370 page romance novel. It's fine, good in places, but it's just taking ages. Doesn't bode well for the ARC I have of her newest.
Hyperbole and a Half was what I expected. Some old favorites, some new stuff. I laughed so hard at the goose story I knocked over a table, but I really wish she'd edited the language in the simple dog post. She apologized at the time, but to then include the r-word unedited in the book? Bad form.
The Duke and I finally came in at the library. I feel like I've been on the waiting list for this one for a year. I still have holds on the last Sookie Stackhouse and The Selection, but I'm like 60th and 45th in line for those.
